Minot Restaurant Improvements: Grizzly’s
I want to tell you about an exciting new feature in Grizzly’s, a Minot restaurant which has been a staple for years.
So what is the news.. well, they decided to add a little flair to the restaurant by putting in a wood-fired rotisserie, which is apparently the only one in town.
The manager, Chris Impola, said it was costly to get the rotisserie installed – but people like to warm themselves by the fire, in the cold winter months – and do appreciate its ambiance. There is a variety of wood-fired meats – chicken, turkey, smoked prime rib e.g.
The prime rib is available only on Friday and Saturday nights. However, you can get a chicken to go for about ten dollars if you’re in a hurry.
Grizzly’s features a fully stocked bar with 16 kinds of beer on tap. The bar is nicely separated from the dining areas, by the way – so it is good for visiting and family get-togethers.
The lunch menu features wood-fired wings, quesadillas with Grizzly’s wood-roasted chicken, or texas egg rolls made from scratch. This is a sample of appetizer offerings. If you’d care to see more of the LUNCH menu, click the link. One more hint: if you like pork, be sure to try one of the wood-fired sandwiches for lunch – there is a choice of two:
- BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich
- Carolina Pulled Pork with mustard
They are tender, slow-cooked, and yummy!
Dinner Menu at Grizzly’s
There is a delightful PASTA dish – Bear Creek pasta, which the ladies love! It consists of angel hair pasta, chicken, bacon, mushrooms – and can be served with either alfredo sauce or a delicate dijon mustard.
Or there’s always Woody’s Chop Salad – Wood-roasted chicken, mixed greens, bleu cheese, vine-ripened tomatoes, avocado, corn, thick cut bacon, green onion, and corn tortilla strips with our house made honey-lime vinaigrette dressing.
